ABOUT ME
My name is Sue McCarron, and I started Creations By Sue in 2000, when I acquired a commercial embroidery machine. At the time I made personalized embroidered items, but mostly liked creating embroidered embellishments for quilts and other projects. Over the years I continued to grow my business selling handcrafted items at local craft fairs and through personal networks. I also create custom T-shirts, uniforms and apparel for local sports teams and am proud to sponsor youth teams and other organizations in my local area by donating items for fundraisers and giving discounts on uniforms.

In 2013 I started giving private sewing lessons, and taught Beading and Paper Crafts at a large retail craft store. A few years later, I became certified to teach Knit and Crochet through the Craft Yarn Council, and taught yarn classes at the same retail store. I have taught classes and workshops through local Adult Education programs and have received a grant from the Shirley Cultural Council to teach Fiber Art Workshops at my local library. I recently started teaching Cricut Design Space Fundamentals and special Cricut Project Classes. Over the years I received many requests to offer Home Parties and other workshops, so I am proud to offer those services at this time.

Being creative has been my passion since I was a young girl and nothing makes me more happy than sharing my creativity with others.
